Description
The wine has a deep, dark purple colour with prominent ripe plum, red berry and floral flavours with undertones of spice. The oak is well balanced with full, firm yet accessible tannins.

Bright gold with a youthful green glow. A generous nose of sunny citrus, fleshy yellow peach and tropical pineapple aromas with gentle white pear and spice carried through to the palate. Well balanced, fruity and fresh through to a playful citrus finish.
A soft dry white blend that is best enjoyed well chilled for effortless enjoyment. A great versatile blend that suits all seasons and most social occasions, particularly delicious with fish and chips, sushi, creamy chicken pie, mild Thai curries and Chinese take-out.

COLOUR: Deep crimson red with a dark red rim.
NOSE: Raspberry and prune flavours supported by a mixture of spicy
cinnamon, white pepper and light mocha aromas.
PALATE: Lovely aromas of plums and dark cherry. These develop immensely in the
glass or by method of decanting. Finishes with lively, mineral accent.
FOOD: As a blend it is a fantastic wine to pair
with a whole range of dishes. Gourmet pizzas, pasta bakes, grilled meat dishes
or just without anything else for pure enjoyment.
AGEING: To be enjoyed in the 3 to 7 years after
Een mooie heldere strogele wijn met een fractie lichtgroen.
Brede en zeer verfijnde aromastructuur met tonen van gekonfijt fruit, perzik, peer, lychee en specerij met subtiele houttonen. Delicate smaak die indrukwekkend en lang uitwaaiert; sappig, vol en heerlijk fris.
De handgeplukte Viognier-druiven zijn afkomstig uit een jonge wijngaard in de zone Agter-Paarl, aan de voet van de Perdeberg. De wijnstokken staan in een glooiend landschap met een ondergrond van verweerd graniet.
De druiven worden handmatig en in optimale conditie geoogst, waarna het sap gist in vaten van Frans eikenhout. Een deel van de wijn blijft vervolgens zeven maanden in contact met het gistdepot.
In de neus hinten van lentebloesems, jasmijn, abrikoos en perzik.
Deze witte wijn heeft een stevige structuur, maar blijft rond met een volle body en een aanhoudende afdronk

Info: De Bela-Bela wijnen worden gemaakt door C.P.Conradie, wijnmaker van familiale boutigue-winery Conradie Penhill. Hij is beste wijnmaker van het jaar, een herkenning die hij al de 2e keer in 5 jaar tijd krijgt. Het domein is gelegen in de Nuy-vallei, op de voet van de beroemde Langeberg Mountains, tussen Worcester en Robertson. Bela-Bela betekent “de pot die kookt” in Tswane. Het is een klein stadje in Limpopo, een provincie in Zuid-Afrika, tot 2002 beter bekend als “Warmbath”.

Verdelho starts off with mouthwatering apricot and stone fruit flavours and the Viognier joins in with a tropical fruit splash of white pear and melon.
Grenache Blanc ties it all together with fragrant fig aromas, tangy acidity and juicy aftertaste.

Origin: Wine of Origin Coastal Region from vineyards in Agter-Paarl
and Voor-Paardeberg - Paarl
In the Vineyard: The Viognier comes from 14 year old vines whilst
the Grenache vineyard is 9 years old with weathered granite and
shale soils dominant. Vines are trellised with one bunch per shoot.
Balance between growth and production is meticulous with low yields
between 7 and 9 tons per hectare. Hand harvested at an average
ripeness of 24°B.
In the Cellar: Whole bunch pressed to respect the delicate skin and
capture the best quality juice with good minerality and acidity. The
Grenache was fermented in 20% new, 40% second fill and 40%
third fill balance in unwooded barrels for 5 months, with lees contact.
Both components were wild fermented. Blended with tank fermented
Viognier and prepared for bottling.
